Sunday Lecture Series: Pranayama

The Sunday Lecture Series is a chance to dive deeper into the philosophy and background of yoga. Rooted in the ancient texts, these lectures will provide information and a chance to ask questions to start or continue your learning on the path of yoga. The sessions do build on each other so attending all 4 will give you the best understanding but they can be stand alone as well.

Pranayama

One of the eight limbs of yoga, breathing practices are an integral part of yoga. They not only work to bridge the gap between the body and mind, but can also work on certain organs and get into the body in ways that the asanas simply can't. This lecture will go over some anatomy and talk about breathing as it relates to furthering and deepening our yoga practice.
