Join Tsartlip Elder Frazer Smith and Tia Hall for an Indigenous Medicine Plant Walk. Join them for stories, practices and medicine of the traditional plants of Wsanec. Experience the secret life of plants and how they look after us when we look after them.

We will be going rain or shine so please bring appropriate clothing for the weather.

The area we will be visiting is Mary Lake Nature Sanctuary at 1772 Millstream Rd (Highlands).

Drive up the long driveway to the parking lot, we'll meet you there. Washrooms are in the building nearby.

You're welcome to stay afterwards for a while and take in the magical beauty of the land. This is a special privilege as this area is not open to the public yet and quite exquisite. Also, there is a picnic area if you wish to bring a bag lunch.
