Join Frazer Smith, an elder and wisdom keeper from Tsartlip First Nation for this two part series to make your own rattle.
This is the making of a medicine that will provide a tool used for music or healing. Rattles will be made out of hide and sound beads and decorations are provided. It is a two part series as the hide needs time to dry so you do need to be available for both weekends.
Sunday May 19 & 26 || 12:30 - 3:30 pm
(Registration closes May 12th so that Frazer has time to order supplies).
There will be a smudge, opening circle, rattle making, teaching/stories, and a closing circle.
You're welcome to bring food or drink as needed.
The studio retains no portion of the proceeds from this workshop.
$60 + GST
We have a community fund if you would like to attend but are facing financial barriers. Please email victoria@oneyoga.ca to access the fund.
