Teacher Mentorship Program

Teacher Mentorship Program

The One Yoga Victoria Teacher Mentorship Program is an opportunity for yoga teachers, with a minimum of a 200 hr certification, to dive deep into refining and developing their teachings. This program covers topics like anatomy, language and cuing, sequencing full spectrum and peak pose classes, verbal and physical adjustments, class theming, workshop/retreat/series design and more. Within each of these topics is the opportunity for small group practice teaching.
The program will be taught by Katie Thacker, Tracey Noseworthy, Maria Filippone, Natalie Wright and Kailie Woods. The program consists of five 2 hour sessions, approximately 5-7 hours of homework, and a final project to film a 60 minute class to submit for feedback (this may seem overwhelming now but by the end of the 5 weeks it will be easier!) You will be provided with a manual that has worksheets for each session. Each Teacher will be present for two sessions and there will be two teachers present for each session.
We created this program as we are passionate about guiding teachers to be the best they can be. There is often not a lot of support for newer teacher so having a mentor can be extremely helpful for developing good habits and ensuring continuous improvement. Often teachers go months or years without receiving feedback on their teaching which can hinder development. Giving and receiving feedback will be integrated into each session of the program. This will be a great chance to get inspired!
The cost of the program is $450 + GST. All sessions will happen at One Yoga Victoria in our back practice room.
